Innovate Tees Valley is a part-funded service available to growth-oriented Tees Valley businesses employing fewer than 250 staff and with an annual turnover of no greater than €50m per annum.
The project has been developed in response to a call from the government and the Tees Valley Unlimited Local Enterprise Partnership to increase the number of businesses which are innovation-active and to support them to overcome growth barriers and find markets for new or enhanced products or services.
The project has received up to £3.8m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020.
